We are always looking to add to our team! Volunteers are our most valuable asset! Without them, there is no ride.

Every single staff member at the ride is a volunteer. From the person who checks your coggins, the individual serving beans, the responsible tail that makes sure you arrive back in camp, all the way to Jeff. (Without whom we would all just be a bunch of hungry folks with good hearts!)

Do you have what it takes?

All you need to volunteer is a good heart and availability!

If you intend to be a drag, guide, or just help with trail clearing you will need to be a reasonably good rider with a sensible horse.

This is the longest running organized ride in Oklahoma. As such, we have lost a lot of good souls along the way. We have made so many life long friends! We have laughed together, cried together, we have even bled together. This ride binds us all. You will meet new friends, see old, and enrich your life with memories that will last a lifetime!

Also, it's good for your horse! We trim trails on horseback. We typically put in an average of 5 work rides over several weekends leading up to each ride. Rain, storms, pipelines, snow, wind, and new growth all wreak havoc on our trail systems. We do our best to make sure each ride is as enjoyable and safe as possible.

To do this, we NEED volunteers. We have become our own little family and we would LOVE for you to join us!
